A shelter volunteer told me he puts ice cubes into his cats’ water bowls. When they hear the ice being taken out of the tray, they come running. So I started putting ice cubes into my cats’ water bowls, when / day. any type of time of year they like it. When they discover a bowl with ice cubes in it, they drink more water.
