Mews and Nips: Why Do Cats try to fit into small Spaces?

cat lovers all know the “if it fits it sits” meme, showing cats squeezing themselves into what often appear to be impossibly small spaces. earlier this week, an post in the Mercury news explored this behavior, and, unlike lots of cat behaviors that have humans puzzled, the reason for this seems to simply be that cats feel a lot more safe in tight quarters. visit the Mercury news to read a lot more about this behavior.

Allegra is cute with her Q-tip. I keep mine put away under the sink, but I remember one time when Kiki got ahold of one and took off with it to play with. I had fun enjoying her.
